COVID-19 Updates

Collin County and the City of McKinney has issued a Shelter in Place Ordinance. As part of the home construction infrastructure, we will continue to be in contact with local and County officials.

We have always been extremely proud that one of Blue Ribbon Roofing defining characteristics is our unwavering commitment to the safety and health of our employees. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, our obligation to safeguard workers and our clientele have grown. We are strictly following Federal, state, and local officials and are actively implementing stricter policies, including social distancing, the use of PPE and monitoring who enters your job sites, to create a safer environment and limit exposure to all.

Blue Ribbon Roofing will do our part to prevent the spread of the Corona-virus and keep the roof over your head in working order. I want to thank all of you in advance for making sure our workers remain healthy and safe during these very challenging times.

Sincerely,
John Hopkins / CEO

Can You Still Get Your Roof Done?

Yes.

Home Construction Companies are listed as essential service in all Local, State and Federal Covid-19 Ordinance.  Blue Ribbon Roofing can help if you need a new roof or need repairs on your current roof. Leaving your roof unattended and at the whim of Texas weather can cause catastrophic damage to your home. It is important to address any roofing concerns as soon as possible.

Blue Ribbon Roofing is working to ensure everyone’s safety during a Roof Replacement or repair during these difficult times.

Safety Measures

Physical Social Distancing:

Since work is mostly done outside your home, you do not have to worry about running into any of our crew throughout the job.

Compliance with CDC Recommendations:

Our team strictly follows the protocols recommended by the CDC. We encourage sick employees to stay at home, and we also perform routine cleaning and disinfection of our tools, work attire, and other equipment and gear.

Why You Should Not Delay Roof Repairs!

While it is important to prioritize your health amid the COVID-19 outbreak, it’s important to note that your home should be in good shape, as well, to keep you healthy while you are inside your home.

Older roofs with suspected damage or potential damage should not wait and should be fixed immediately. This is important for both major and minor roof problems. Serious damage to your roof can cause immediate concerns, while minor ones like small leaks can turn into bigger problems and lead to more extensive damage.

We are urging residents who may have any doubts about the status of their roof to see this crisis as an opportunity to take care of the roof over their heads.

Will I Experience Insurance or Supply Delays?

Blue Ribbon has been working with Local and Out of State adjusters for a long time. We have been proactive in staying in touch with insurance companies and working diligently with a local adjuster to avoid any delays in insurance claims. Our knowledgeable staff will help push the process through.

Our country has rallied through this crisis to make sure that our food and supply chains go uninterrupted. We work with local suppliers who have assured us that supplies will not be delayed (except toilet paper).

Do You Have Questions About Your Roof?

During these difficult times, the Roof over your head is as important as the family and individuals under it. We are a local family-owned Roofing Company with experience and relationships within our community. We are committed to providing you and our worker’s safety during this health crisis and will continue to provide the essential roofing services that your home needs.
